Electric Eye

electric eye
photoelectric cell , Also called: electric eye
noun Electronics .
a solid-state device that converts light into electrical energy byproducing a voltage, as in a photovoltaic cell,  or uses light toregulate the flow of current, as in a photoconductive cell:  used inautomatic control systems for doors, lighting, etc.

This picture actually has nothing to do with what electric eye actually means, but I freakin love it! I'm getting story ideas from this picture! I especially like how even the eye lashes are electrified.

Today unfortunately won't be that interesting, because I don't have a lot to say about an electric eye. It sounds like pretty cool technology, and I am a techy kinda girl. Quite frankly I'm more excited about what it would be like to be able to have electricity come out of your eye. In a Storm from X-men kind of way. Would your entire body be electrified? Would other people be able to touch you? How would that change your vision?

Tomorrow's letter is F and the word I chose randomly is 5 letters and starts with FE.  Any guesses?

  1. That is an awesome picture. It makes me think of ice and electricity. And now I'm thinking how you could be freezing cold but sizzling with voltage at the same time :)

  2. I enjoy reading your blog. Thanks for visiting mine, too. I understand that some folks aren't fans of coffee. I appreciate, however, that you appreciate caffeine - sometimes ya gotta have it!

  3. Wow, that picture is neat. Makes me think of superpowers, too. :)

  4. The picture speaks for itself. Very cool. :)

  5. Wow, what an amazing picture!

  6. Looks like something you'd see in a sci-fi movie. Very cool!

  7. I agree; that picture is pretty cool! So are electric eyes, of course.
